Dr. Jennifer Klabunde
DVM, CVCP

Jennifer Klabunde, DVM, is the owner of Northwood Animal Hospital.  She is a Northeastern Pennsylvania native and graduate of Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in Biology.  She graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and worked in a mixed animal practice in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Michigan.

Dr. Klabunde moved to Traverse City in 2007 when she purchased Northwood Animal Hospital.  She specializes in companion animal medicine and surgery and also practices VOM (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation), a form of veterinary chiropractic care.

In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, camping, jogging, reading and spending time with family and friends.  Dr. Klabunde and her husband have 3 wonderful children, 2 labrador retrievers, 1 cat, 3 sheep, 1 cow and a rabbit (although the farm animals live in a barn and not the house).

Dr. Jennifer Richmond
DVM

Jennifer Richmond, D.V.M.  is a 1995 graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.  Upon graduation, she returned to Traverse City and practiced small animal medicine.  Her areas of interest include internal medicine and dermatology.

In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Richmond enjoys reading, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
