By April 9, 2014Pet Talk

Dr. Jen Klabunde offers insight into the world of pets and tips on daily pet issues. Catch Dr. Klabunde every Wednesday morning on 7&4 News Today at 6:20 and 6:40.

Dr.┬áKlabunde brought on a very special guest this morning. A familiar furry friend named Indigo was featured this morning because she is Cherryland Humane Society’s longest resident. At less than two years old, this cat has never had a home other than the shelter. A good Samaritan has already paid for her adoption fee, she is neutered and ready to go to a new home. This beautiful black cat can be found at the humane society in Traverse City.

Also today, Dr. Klabunde talks about more things pet owners wonder, especially why does my dog eat such disgusting things? And during this time of year it is not uncommon to stumble upon some baby wild animals like birds, rabbits, or fawns. See the full playlist for what to do.
