With spring and summer (hopefully) on their way, we thought you should know the facts about leaving your pets inside the car. Research has found that temperatures can rise as much as 20 degrees Fahrenheit in just 10 minutes. Now you may be thinking that leaving the windows open can help lessen this harmful heat, research also found that leaving the windows open does NOT help decrease the temperature in the car.

Help keep your pet safe and cool this summer by only taking them along with you for fun trips to the visit us here at Northwood Animal Hospital or the dog park, not the mall.
